Nate Burleson Biography
Nate Burleson (born August 19, 1981) is a Canadian-born American television host, football commentator, and former NFL wide receiver. He played college football for the Nevada Wolf Pack and was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft. Throughout his career, Burleson also played for the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions. Currently, he co-hosts CBS Mornings and covers football for CBS on The NFL Today program, as well as Nickelodeon. Previously, Burleson co-hosted Good Morning Football on NFL Network and was a correspondent for the entertainment news program Extra. He was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where his father played for the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL.
