Nathan Burton
Nathan Isaac Burton (born April 29, 1980) is an American football coach and the current Defensive Coordinator at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. He previously served as the secondary coach for the New Orleans Breakers of the United States Football League (USFL) and was the co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach at Georgia Tech. Burton played safety for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets from 2001 to 2004 and later stayed at the university as a graduate assistant for four seasons. He also had coaching stints at Oklahoma State, UT Martin, Shorter, and West Alabama before serving as a quality control assistant at NC State in 2017. In 2018, Burton became the defensive backs coach at Temple, reuniting with head coach Geoff Collins.
