Nathaniel Parker is an English stage and screen actor, born on 18 May 1962 in London. He is best known for his role as the lead in the BBC crime drama series, The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, and as Agravaine de Bois in the fourth series of Merlin. Parker comes from a family of achievers, with his father being the former British Rail chairman and his mother a GP and author. He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1986. Parker has also showcased his talent on stage, starring in productions like The Merchant of Venice and Speed-the-Plow.
