Naveen Andrews

Naveen Andrews is a British actor born on January 17, 1969, in Lambeth, London. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Sayid Jarrah in the hit television series Lost (2004-2010), earning nominations for a Golden Globe Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and winning a Screen Actors Guild Award. Andrews has also appeared in notable films such as The English Patient (1996), Mighty Joe Young (1998), and Diana (2013), among others. In 2022, he played the character of Ramesh 'Sunny' Balwani in the Hulu miniseries The Dropout. Andrews was raised in Wandsworth and attended Emanuel School. He has described his upbringing as 'very repressive.'
