Navia Nguyen

Navia Nguyen (born 1973) is an American model and actress. She was born in Phu Quoc, South Vietnam, and grew up in New York City. Nguyen studied at Central Saint Martins in London. She gained recognition after being spotted by a photographer in Camden Town. Nguyen's modeling career includes appearances in the 1996 Pirelli Calendar, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 1997, and being selected as one of People Magazine's '50 Most Beautiful People'. She has modeled for renowned fashion houses such as Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Fendi, and Christian Dior, as well as American brands like GAP and Tommy Hilfiger. Nguyen has also acted in movies such as Memoirs of a Geisha and Hitch, and appeared in the pilot episode of Sex and the City as Tatiana. In 2009, she left the entertainment industry and established AMO Beauty Spa in Bali, where she currently resides with her daughter.
