Ned Dennehy

Ned Dennehy (born 8 December 1965) is an Irish actor known for his appearances in various films and television shows. He gained recognition for his role as Mider in The Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog. Dennehy has showcased his talent in films such as Blitz, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1, and the British feature film Downhill. On television, he has been seen on RTÉ's Damo and Ivor, Glitch, and BBC dramas like Parade's End, Luther, Banished, and Dickensian. Notably, he portrayed Charlie Strong in the popular series Peaky Blinders. Dennehy's versatility extends to his portrayal of characters like Hastur in Good Omens. In 2017, he received an IFTA Award for his supporting role in TG4's An Klondike.
