Ned Romero (December 4, 1926 – November 4, 2017) was an American actor and opera singer. Born on December 4, 1926 in Franklin, Louisiana, Romero had Chitimacha Native American, Spanish, and French ancestry. He earned a master's degree in music from Louisiana State University. Romero began his career as an opera singer, performing with the San Francisco Opera and in Los Angeles. He also appeared in musicals like Kiss Me, Kate and Oklahoma!. Transitioning to television and film, he made his first TV appearance on The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis. Romero had regular roles on several TV shows and appeared in movies throughout his career.
