Edwin Christian 'Ned' Schmidtke Jr. (born June 19, 1942) is an American film and television actor. He is best known for his role as Greg Barnard on the U.S. TV show Another World. Schmidtke has appeared in a number of notable films and TV shows throughout his career, including The Crazies (1973), The Manhattan Project (1986), Rent-a-Cop (1987), Music Box (1989), and My Best Friend's Wedding (1997). He has also made appearances in TV series such as Early Edition (1996–1999), Roswell (2001), The Practice (2001), and The West Wing (2001–2002).
