Neelam Kothari

Neelam Kothari Soni, also known as Neelam, is an Indian actress who worked in Hindi films. Born on July 18, 1961, in Hong Kong, she made her acting debut with the film Jawaani in 1984. Neelam went on to star in several movies including Love 86 (1986), Ilzaam (1986), Khudgarz (1987), Hatya (1988), and Taaqatwar (1989), among others. She shared the screen with Chunkey Pandey in films like Aag Hi Aag (1987), Paap Ki Duniya (1988), and Billoo Badshah (1989). Neelam comes from a mixed heritage, with a Gujarati Indian father and an Iranian mother. She pursued her education at Island School and was a member of Rutherford House. Neelam was discovered by director Ramesh Behl while on vacation in Mumbai.
