Neil Melville Biography
Neil Melville is an Australian actor known for his extensive work in theatre, film, and television. Born in Sydney, he spent most of his childhood in Apollo Bay, Victoria. In the early 1970s, Melville was the lead singer of Geelong rock band 'The Iliad'. He graduated from Adelaide's Flinders University with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and performed in various university productions, including the world premiere of Jack Hibberd's 'The Les Darcy Show' in 1974. After university, Melville wrote and performed for children with the Little Patch Theatre. He has since appeared in numerous Australian theatre, film, and TV productions. Melville has also served as actor and director-in-residence at the University of Melbourne. He currently resides in Apollo Bay with his wife Bo.
