Virenia 'Nia' Peeples is an American R&B and dance music singer and actress. She is best known for her roles as Nicole Chapman on the TV series Fame, Pam Fields on Pretty Little Liars, Karen Taylor Winters on The Young and the Restless, and Sydney Cooke on Walker, Texas Ranger. Peeples was born on December 10, 1961, in Hollywood, California. She was raised in West Covina and attended UCLA. Peeples has also had a successful music career, performing as Liberace's opening act in Las Vegas. She currently resides in Malibu, California, and has two children, a son named Christopher and a daughter from her previous marriage.
