Niamh McGrady is a film, stage, and television actress from Castlewellan, County Down, Northern Ireland. She is best known for her roles as Mary-Claire Carter in Holby City and PC Danielle Ferrington in the psychological thriller The Fall. McGrady was born on October 4, 1982, and attended Assumption Grammar School in Ballynahinch. She trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and began her career with roles in Italy and Wales. McGrady has also appeared in productions of Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, and Girls & Dolls. In addition to her stage work, she made her television debut in the George Best biopic Best: His Mother's Son in 2009.
