Nicholas Brendon

Nicholas Brendon Schultz, known professionally as Nicholas Brendon, is an American actor and writer. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Xander Harris in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003) and Kevin Lynch in Criminal Minds (2007–2014). With a seven-year tenure on Buffy, Brendon appeared in all but one of the show's 144 episodes. He received Saturn Award nominations for his role as Xander in 1998, 1999, and 2000. In addition to his acting career, Brendon has contributed to the development of Xander's character in comic books and has been credited as a writer for several issues. While remaining active as an actor, Brendon has faced personal struggles with substance misuse and depression.
