Nick Gomez

Nick Gomez (born April 13, 1963) is an American film director and writer. He gained recognition for his directorial debut in the 1992 film Laws of Gravity, which won awards at the Berlin International Film Festival and the Valencia International Film Festival. Gomez continued his success with the 1995 crime drama New Jersey Drive, which was featured and competed for a Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Gomez attended the State University of New York at Purchase where he developed a passion for sound design, music, and movies. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with notable filmmakers, producers, and actors such as Bob Gosse, Hal Hartley, Edie Falco, and Paul Schulze.
