Nick Lazzarini

Nick Lazzarini (born August 4, 1984) is an American dancer known for his diverse dance styles. He gained prominence as the winner of the first season of the Fox reality show, So You Think You Can Dance. Lazzarini is trained in jazz, lyrical, hip hop, ballet, and modern dance. Born to Italian American parents, he grew up in Mountain View, California, where he attended Springer Elementary and Blach Intermediate School. Lazzarini's talent was recognized early on when Dance Spirit magazine featured him on their October 2001 cover after his standout performance at Showbiz. Currently residing in Van Nuys, California, Lazzarini continues to dance and teach as a respected figure in the dance community.
