Nicholas David Offerman (born June 26, 1970) is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and woodworker. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Ron Swanson in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation (2009–2015), earning critical acclaim and a Television Critics Association Award for Individual Achievement in Comedy.
