Nick Roth is an American screenwriter and actor, born on April 24, 1985. He is the son of renowned film and television director, Bobby Roth. Growing up in Los Angeles, Nick was exposed to the film industry from a young age, with both his parents involved in the field. He made his acting debut in the 1997 television film 'The Devil's Child', which was directed by his father, playing the role of Sam. In 2002, he appeared in the television film 'Crossed Over', also directed by his father, portraying the character of Diane Keaton's son. Nick further pursued his academic interests and obtained a PhD in English from Cornell University. Additionally, he spent time in China, where he worked on the adapted screenplay for 'Chronicles of the Ghostly Tribe', which achieved notable success at the Chinese box office in 2015. In 2015, his short film 'Coming To' received the Grand Prize for Fearless Filmmaking at the Slamdance Film Festival.
