Nick Tate

Nick Tate is an Australian actor known for his roles as pilot Alan Carter in the 1970s science fiction series Space: 1999 and James Hamilton in the soap opera Sons and Daughters. Born on June 18, 1942, in Sydney, Tate comes from a family of actors, with both his parents and maternal grandparents being in the entertainment industry. He has also had a successful voiceover career, lending his voice to movie trailers, animation, and video games. Tate's breakthrough came with the Australian TV series My Brother Jack, and he later gained recognition playing 'Nicholas the Gallant' in the musical The Canterbury Tales. He continues to be a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
