Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman Cast

Jane Seymour portrayed the main character of Dr. Michaela Quinn. Dr. Quinn is a strong-willed and compassionate doctor who moves from Boston to the town of Colorado Springs to practice medicine. She faces numerous challenges as she fights for acceptance in a male-dominated profession.

Joe Lando played the role of Byron Sully. Sully is a rugged outdoorsman and a close friend of Dr. Quinn. He is a skilled tracker and provides invaluable assistance to Quinn in her medical endeavors. Sully becomes a love interest for Dr. Quinn, and their relationship develops throughout the series.

Shawn Toovey portrayed the character of Brian Cooper. Brian is the young son of Dr. Quinn, whose father was killed by Indians. Brian is a curious and intelligent boy who often finds himself in adventurous situations. Throughout the series, Brian grows and matures under the guidance of Dr. Quinn and Sully.

Chad Allen played the role of Matthew Cooper. Matthew is the eldest son of Dr. Quinn and older brother to Brian. He initially struggles to accept his mother's new life in Colorado Springs but eventually becomes supportive. Matthew later enlists in the military and faces the challenges of serving during the Civil War.

Jessica Bowman portrayed the character of Colleen Cooper Cook. Colleen is the daughter of Dr. Quinn and older sister to Brian and Matthew. She starts as a young girl who dreams of becoming a doctor like her mother. Colleen faces several obstacles and tragedies but grows into a strong and determined woman.

Erika Flores played the younger version of Colleen Cooper. As a child, Colleen is intelligent and precocious. She looks up to her mother and aspires to follow in her footsteps. Erika Flores portrayed the character during the earlier seasons of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.

Matt Letscher had a recurring role as the character of Ethan Cooper. Ethan is the brother of Dr. Quinn and initially disapproves of her decision to move to Colorado Springs. However, he eventually becomes a respected member of the community and helps Dr. Quinn in her medical practice.

Ross Malinger had a recurring role as Lewis Bing, a young boy who befriends Brian Cooper. Lewis often gets into mischief but has a good heart. He forms a close bond with Brian and provides some comedic moments throughout the series.
