Stephanie Niznik Biography
Stephanie Lynne Niznik (May 20, 1967 – June 23, 2019) was an American film, television, and theatre actress. She is best known for her role as Nina Feeney on the TV show Everwood. Niznik was born in Brewer, Maine and was co-valedictorian of the Class of 1986 at John Bapst Memorial High School. She was an exchange student in Paris, conducted genetic research at Jackson Laboratory, and was a National Merit Scholar. Niznik initially planned to become a geneticist and was accepted to Harvard University but later changed her goals. She graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with a major in theater and Russian, and later graduated from the California Institute of the Arts. In addition to Everwood, Niznik had guest roles on several TV shows including Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, Profiler, Sliders, JAG, Frasier, Epoch, Star Trek: Enterprise, Traveler, and Diagnosis: Murder. She was also a series regular on Vanishing Son and Life Is Wild.
