Steve Edge
Steve Edge is an English actor, writer, and former stand-up comedian. He is best known for his work on Starlings, Phoenix Nights, The Cup, The Visit, Peep Show, Benidorm, and the satirical magazine show Star Stories. Edge was born on November 2, 1972, in Cannock, Staffordshire, England. He attended Stafford College and the University of Salford. Beginning his career in 1997, Edge worked as a stand-up comedian until 2004. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Alan in That Peter Kay Thing, Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights, and Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere. In 2015, Edge reprised his role for Phoenix Nights LIVE, performing in 16 shows.
