Nick Verreos

Nick Verreos is an American fashion designer, fashion commentator, former Project Runway contestant, educator, and author. He was born on February 13, 1967, in St. Louis, Missouri, to a Greek-American father and a Panamanian mother. Verreos spent his early childhood in Caracas, Venezuela, before moving back to the United States at the age of 10. He completed his education at UCLA, where he initially studied Political Science and International Relations. However, his passion for fashion design led him to pursue additional studies at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles. In 1993, Verreos completed the Advanced Fashion Design Program at FIDM. He later launched his own high-end label, NIKOLAKI, in 2001.
