Nicky Henson Biography
Nicky Henson (1945-2019) was a British actor known for his various television roles. Born Nicholas Victor Leslie Henson in London, he was the son of comedian Leslie Henson and Harriet Martha Collins. Henson attended St. Bede's Prep School and Charterhouse before training as a stage manager at RADA. He began his acting career as a guitarist and later joined the Young Vic Company, where he played Pozzo in Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot. Henson appeared in popular TV shows like Fawlty Towers, Minder, Boon, Inspector Morse, and Lovejoy. He also portrayed the doctor in the BBC adaptation of Kingsley Amis' The Green Man. Henson's nephew is farmer and TV presenter Adam Henson.
