Nicola Thorp

Nicola Thorp is an English broadcaster, columnist, activist, and former actress. She is best known for her role as Nicola Rubinstein in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street (2017–2019). Thorp has also made contributions to the newspaper Metro and has appeared on programmes such as This Morning and The Talk. Born in Blackpool, Thorp comes from a family that runs a Blackpool rock factory. She attended Arnold School and studied acting at the Arts Educational School (ArtsEd) in London. Thorp has competed in Sport Relief's 'Clash of the Channels' boat race and writes a regular column for Metro.co.uk. Since 2019, she has been a regular contributor to This Morning.
