Nicole Beharie

Nicole Beharie is an American actress known for her roles in various films and TV shows. Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, Beharie had a unique upbringing as her father was in the United States Foreign Service, causing her to live in different countries. She attended Orangeburg Wilkinson High School in South Carolina and graduated from the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts & Humanities. Beharie then pursued her passion for acting at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. She made her feature film debut in the 2008 film American Violet and went on to star in notable films such as Shame, 42, and Miss Juneteenth. From 2013 to 2016, Beharie gained widespread recognition for her role in the Fox series Sleepy Hollow.
