Nicole Power

Nicole Power is a Canadian actress known for her role as Shannon Ross in the popular TV series Kim's Convenience and its spin-off series Strays. Born in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Power grew up in Middle Cove. She attended Memorial University of Newfoundland before pursuing her passion for acting. Power graduated from Sheridan College's Musical Theatre program and Second City's conservatory. She also trained at Soulpepper Theatre Academy. Power has an impressive stage career, appearing in productions such as West Side Story, Bonnie and Clyde, Legally Blonde, La Cage aux Folles, Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, Evangeline, and Anne of Green Gables: The Musical. She has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Canadian Screen Awards for her role in Kim's Convenience.
