Nigel Anthony (born December 23, 1941) is a British actor known for his work in theatre, television, narration, and radio. His notable theatre credits include performances in Twelfth Night, Dutch Uncle, Happy End, and The Taming of the Shrew for the Royal Shakespeare Company, as well as seasons at Scarborough and Chichester. On television, he has appeared in various shows including Casualty, The Diary of Anne Frank, Coronation Street, Midsomer Murders, and Doctors. Anthony has also had a successful career in radio drama, earning a Sony award and a Radio Times award. He has three sons, including documentary filmmakers Sam Anthony and Ben Anthony.
