Nigel Harrison Biography
Nigel Harrison is an English musician born on April 24, 1951. He is best known as the bassist for the American rock band Blondie during the 1970s and 1980s. Harrison began his musical career in the local band Farm and later joined Silverhead, where he recorded and toured from 1972 to 1974. He also played bass for Iggy Pop's first solo performance in 1974. Harrison was an uncredited session bassist for The Runaways' debut album and joined Blondie in 1977 after the band recorded their second album without a regular bass player. He stayed with Blondie until their split after the Tracks Across America Tour '82.
