Nikesh Patel (born 1985) is a British actor known for his roles in various notable TV shows. He gained recognition for his performances in the Channel 4 drama Indian Summers (2015–2016), the Hulu miniseries Four Weddings and a Funeral (2019), the BBC sitcom Starstruck (2021–present), and the Amazon Prime thriller The Devil's Hour (2022–present). Patel was born and raised in Wembley, North West London, to parents who are pharmacists. He completed his secondary education at the City of London School and later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Warwick. After discovering his passion for acting during university, Patel trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he received the gold medal for Acting in 2010. He began his professional career in theatre, with notable roles at the Royal Court Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
