Nikki Amuka-Bird

Nikki Amuka-Bird is a Nigerian-born British actress known for her work in stage, television, and film. Born on February 27, 1976, in Delta State, Nigeria, she moved to England as a young child and was raised in England, Lagos, and Antigua. Amuka-Bird attended Hurtwood House boarding school and initially aspired to be a dancer but switched her focus to acting after experiencing a back injury. She studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and began her stage career with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC). Amuka-Bird has appeared in various productions, including Welcome to Thebes at the National Theatre and television shows such as Luther and Gold Digger.
