Nikki Sixx, born Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna Jr. on December 11, 1958, is an American musician. He is best known as the co-founder, bassist, and primary songwriter of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. Before forming Mötley Crüe, Sixx was a member of Sister and later formed the band London with his Sister bandmate Lizzie Grey. Throughout his career, Sixx has been involved in various side projects and collaborations, including the groups 58, Brides of Destruction, and Sixx:A.M. He has also worked as a co-writer and producer with artists such as Steve Jones, Lita Ford, Alice Cooper, Meat Loaf, and Marion.
