Nilaja Sun

Nilaja Sun (born Nilaja Sun Gordon) is a multi-talented actress, playwright, and teaching artist hailing from the Lower East Side in New York City. With a career spanning over two decades, Sun has been a dedicated theatre educator in the New York City public school system since 1998. She gained widespread recognition for her acclaimed one-person play, No Child..., which earned her numerous awards. Sun's impressive acting credits include notable appearances in TV shows such as The Bourne Legacy (2012), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2004–2006), and 30 Rock (2008–2012). Her most renowned work, No Child..., is a powerful portrayal of her experiences as a visiting teacher in a Bronx high school and showcases her incredible talent for portraying multiple characters.
