Nina Kiri Biography
Nina Kiri, born as Nina Kiridžija on September 3, 1992, is a Serbian Canadian actress. She is best known for her role as Alma in the first five seasons of the Hulu series The Handmaid's Tale (2017–2022). Born in Belgrade, Serbia during the Yugoslav Wars, Kiri's family relocated to Vancouver, Canada. She began her acting journey in school theatre and made her professional stage debut in 2007. Kiri's first screen appearance was in the 2011 Disney Channel movie Geek Charming. She later starred in the short film Cleo (2016), directed by Sanja Zivkovic. Kiri's notable film credits include Let Her Out (2016), The Haunted House on Kirby Road (2016), and The Heretics (2017), for which she won the Festival Prize for Best Actress at the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival.
