Nina Oyama

Nina Oyama is an Australian comedian, writer, actress, and director. She is best known for her roles in TV shows like Utopia, Taskmaster Australia, and Deadloch. Oyama was born on August 18, 1993, to an Australian mother and a Japanese father. She attended North Sydney Girls High School and studied communications and theatre media at Charles Sturt University. Oyama started her stand-up comedy career at the age of 17 and was a state finalist in the Class Clowns competition in 2012. She became a writer for the children's sketch comedy show You're Skitting Me and made her television debut performing stand-up comedy on SBS 2 in 2014.
