Nina Wadia is a British actress and comedian born on 18 December 1968 in Bombay, India. She rose to fame for her portrayal of Zainab Masood in the BBC soap opera EastEnders, Aunty Noor in Citizen Khan, and Mrs Hussein in the BBC comedy Still Open All Hours. Wadia also appeared in the Hindi-language romantic comedy Namaste London in 2007 and the series Origin in 2018. She joined the cast of the BBC soap opera Doctors as Binita Prabhu in 2023. Wadia began her career in the BBC sketch show Goodness Gracious Me, showcasing her comedic talent. She is of Parsi ancestry and attended Island School in Hong Kong during her childhood.
