Nive Nielsen

Nive Nielsen is a Greenlandic singer-songwriter and actress. She gained prominence as the lead singer of her band, The Deer Children, and is known for her unique sound and talent on the guitar-ukulele. Nive's music career began with a memorable performance for Margrethe II of Denmark. In addition to her music, Nive has ventured into acting, appearing as an Inuk woman in the film 'The New World' in 2005. More recently, she captivated audiences with her portrayal of the shaman 'Lady Silence' in the AMC series 'The Terror.' Nive continues to showcase her multifaceted talent in both the music and acting worlds.
