Noble Willingham Biography
Noble Henry Willingham, Jr. (August 31, 1931 – January 17, 2004) was an American actor known for his appearances in over thirty films and numerous television shows. He gained recognition for his role opposite Chuck Norris in the popular television series, Walker, Texas Ranger. Born in Mineola, Texas, Willingham graduated from North Texas State College in Denton in 1953 and later earned a master's degree in educational psychology from Baylor University. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War before pursuing a career in acting. Willingham's notable film credits include The Last Picture Show (1971) and Paper Moon (1973).
