Noel MacNeal (born September 15, 1961) is an American puppeteer, actor, director, and writer of children's television. He has been performing since the early 1980s and is known for his work on various TV shows. MacNeal is best known for his role as Bear on Bear in the Big Blue House and for portraying Kako on Oobi, Leon MacNeal on The Puzzle Place, and Magellan on Eureeka's Castle. He is also the resident puppeteer for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, where he brings to life puppet characters like 'Mr. Nutterbutter'. MacNeal has also performed on Sesame Street, playing characters such as Mrs. (Mommy) Snuffleupagus and various Snuffleupagus relatives. Additionally, he portrays the mascot ZoZo, a puppet designed by Jim Henson, to educate children and families about environmental issues.
