Norma Kuhling

Norma Zea Kuhling (born 1990) is an American actress known for her roles in film and television. She gained recognition for portraying Dr. Ava Bekker in the NBC medical drama series Chicago Med. Kuhling's early career includes appearances in the 2009 film The Joneses and a 2011 production of Moonchildren. In 2016, she acted in the romantic fantasy film Fallen and made guest appearances in Falling Water. Kuhling joined Chicago Med in 2017, playing the role of Dr. Ava Bekker, an ambitious cardiothoracic surgery fellow. She starred in the 2019 independent film Fourteen as Jo Mitchel. Kuhling's performances have received critical acclaim.
