Norman Alden Biography
Norman Alden (September 13, 1924 – July 27, 2012) was an American character actor known for his performances in television programs and motion pictures. He made his television debut in 1957 on The 20th Century Fox Hour. Alden provided the voice of Kay in The Sword in the Stone (1963) and had a notable role in I Never Promised You a Rose Garden. He is also recognized for playing Kranix and Arblus in The Transformers: The Movie (1986). Alden's acting career spanned almost 50 years, ending with his retirement in 2006. He passed away at the age of 87 in 2012. Norman Alden was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and served in the United States Army during World War II. He attended Texas Christian University and had two children.
