Normani Kordei Hamilton, known professionally as Normani, is an American singer. Born on May 31, 1996, Normani rose to fame as a member of the American girl group Fifth Harmony. During her time with Fifth Harmony, she competed in Dancing with the Stars in 2017. Normani released her debut solo single, 'Love Lies' in 2018, a duet with Khalid, which achieved 5× platinum certification by the RIAA. Following Fifth Harmony's hiatus, she collaborated with Calvin Harris on the two-song EP Normani x Calvin Harris in 2018. Normani's single 'Waves' featuring 6lack won the MTV Video Music Award for Best R&B Video. In 2019, her duet with Sam Smith, 'Dancing with a Stranger', reached the top ten in 22 countries and earned her a Brit Award nomination for Song Of The Year. Normani's solo single 'Motivation' was released in August 2019 to critical acclaim. She continues to make waves in the music industry with her versatile talent.
