Nyesha Arrington

Nyesha Joyce Arrington is an American chef, television personality, and restaurateur. She gained recognition as a contestant on Top Chef: Texas season 9 and has since appeared on various television shows, including Fox's Next Level Chef as a mentor and judge. Arrington was born and raised in Southern California, where she developed her passion for cooking. She has a diverse background, being multiracial and Black, with her grandmother being Korean. Arrington began her career working under renowned chef Josiah Citrin at Mélisse and later served as executive chef at Wilshire Restaurant. Her culinary skills and expertise earned her accolades, including being named Eater LA's chef of the year in 2015. She has also been a chef and partner at Leona and Native, both located in California.
