    Nyle DiMarco Biography
    Nyle DiMarco (born May 8, 1989) is an American model, actor, and Deaf activist. He gained recognition by winning The CW's reality television series America's Next Top Model in season 22, making him the first Deaf winner and second male winner of the show. In the following year, DiMarco and his dance partner Peta Murgatroyd won the ABC televised dance competition Dancing with the Stars in season 22. Born as Nyle Thompson in Queens, New York, he later changed his last name to DiMarco, his mother's maiden name. DiMarco attended the Maryland School for the Deaf and graduated from Gallaudet University with a degree in mathematics. He is fluent in English and American Sign Language (ASL).
