O-Lan Jones Biography
O-Lan Jones (born May 23, 1950) is an American actress, composer, and theater producer. She is best known for her role as Rose on the TV show 'Harts of the West' (1993-1994). Born in Los Angeles, California, Jones got her name from the Chinese heroine in Pearl S. Buck's novel 'The Good Earth'. Her acting career began in Greenwich Village, New York City, where she starred in plays written by her then-boyfriend, playwright Sam Shepard. In 1969, she married Shepard and they had a son together. Jones has appeared in numerous theater productions and has also composed music for various films and TV shows.
