Olan Soule Biography
Olan Soule (February 28, 1909 – February 1, 1994) was an American actor known for his extensive work in radio, television, and film. With a career spanning over seven decades, Soule had professional credits in nearly 7,000 radio shows and commercials, appeared in 200 television series and television films, and acted in over 60 films. Born as Alan Evart Soule in La Harpe, Illinois, Soule began his theatrical career by joining a tent show in Iowa. He later performed on stage in Chicago for seven years before transitioning to radio in 1933. Soule notably portrayed lead male characters on radio's The First Nighter Program for nine years and also appeared on the soap opera Bachelor's Children. His contributions to the entertainment industry left a lasting impact.
