Oliver Clark Biography
Oliver Clark, born Richard Mardirosian on January 4, 1939, is an American character actor of Armenian heritage. Originally from Buffalo, New York, he has made numerous appearances in film and television throughout his career. Notably, Clark portrayed Mr. Farcus in the 1970 movie 'The Landlord' and Mr. Small in the 1971 film 'They Might Be Giants.' In the 1976 remake of 'A Star Is Born,' he also had a role. On television, Clark became known for his characters John Doe #6 on the NBC drama 'St. Elsewhere' and Mr. Herd on 'The Bob Newhart Show.' Additionally, he played Roger Barton on an episode of 'The Golden Girls.'
