Oliver Dimsdale Biography
Oliver Dimsdale (born October 28, 1972) is an English actor. He is best known for his portrayal of Louis Trevelyan in the BBC TV serial 'He Knew He Was Right'. Dimsdale was born in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and raised in Hertfordshire. He is the son of a Swiss mother and has a sister named Anna. Dimsdale developed a stammer at the age of six, which he has partially brought under control with speech therapy. He attended the Dragon School and Eton College before studying French and Economics at university. Dimsdale trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 1999. He has had notable roles in films such as 'RocknRolla' (2008) and 'Cosi' (2010) as well as television appearances in 'He Knew He Was Right' and 'Harley Street'.
