Oliver Ford Davies Biography
Oliver Ford Davies is an English actor and writer, best known for his extensive theatre work. He was born on August 12, 1939, in Ealing, Middlesex, England. Davies attended the King's School, Canterbury, and later studied History at Merton College, Oxford, where he became President of the Oxford University Dramatic Society. After completing his DPhil, he worked as a history lecturer before transitioning to acting professionally in 1967. Davies gained wider recognition for his role as Sio Bibble in Star Wars Episodes I to III and as Maester Cressen in the HBO series Game of Thrones. With a career spanning several decades, Davies remains a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
