Oliver Muirhead is an English character actor born on May 29, 1957. He is best known for his roles as pompous country gentlemen in movies and TV shows. Muirhead also directed the musical pantomime A Christmas Held Captive in 1986. Apart from acting, he has lent his voice to animated series like P.J. Sparkles and Spider-Man: The Animated Series, as well as video games including Zork: Grand Inquisitor, Dead to Rights, The Hobbit, and Eragon. Muirhead gained recognition in the United States for his appearances in 1990s commercials for Tombstone Pizza. He made a memorable cameo as a sarcastic jeweler in the Friends episode 'The One with the Ring.' Muirhead also starred as Mr. Marx in the soap opera Santa Barbara, where he hired Gina at the Santa Barbara Sperm Bank.
