Omar Sy

Omar Sy is a French actor known for his work in movies and television shows. He rose to prominence in France for his sketches on the television show 'Service après-vente des émissions' from 2005 to 2012. His breakout role came in the 2011 film 'Intouchables,' where he won the César Award for Best Actor, becoming the first Black recipient of the award. Omar has also appeared in international films such as 'X-Men: Days of Future Past,' 'Jurassic World,' and 'Inferno.' He is currently starring in the Netflix series 'Lupin.' Born on January 20, 1978, in Trappes, France, Omar Sy is the fourth of eight children. His parents are immigrants from West Africa.
